What is a skin undertone?
Your undertone is the subtle hue beneath your skin's surface color — warm (golden/peachy), cool (pink/blue), or neutral (balanced). It never changes with tanning, and it decides which foundation base, clothing colors, and jewellery metals flatter you.
How do I find my undertone?
The classic self-tests: green wrist veins suggest warm, blue-purple suggest cool; gold jewellery flattering warm, silver flattering cool; burning easily suggests cool, tanning easily warm. This tool goes further — it measures your skin's actual hue angle from a photo, in your browser.

What's the difference between undertone and skin depth?
Depth is how light or deep your skin is (fair to rich); undertone is the hue beneath it. A foundation match needs both — two people with the same depth can need completely different bases. This tool reads both from one selfie.
Can my undertone be neutral?
Yes — many people are neutral or only slightly warm/cool. If both metals look good on you and your veins read blue-green, you're likely neutral, which gives you the widest color range of all.
